WHY MEMBERSHIP MATTERS

As NAPEO’s 2027 membership renewal season begins, I encourage you to think about what membership really means.

Sure, we all know there are tangible benefits that come with belonging to NAPEO: access to the regulatory database and timely legislative updates, industry research, PEO-specific educational programs, networking opportunities, PEO Insider and much more.

Those things matter, but the real value of membership is bigger than any one benefit.

Our industry faces issues that no individual company can tackle on its own. That is where NAPEO membership makes a difference, because collectively we can accomplish so much more than we can individually.

One of the things I have always appreciated about this industry is how willing people are to help one another. We may compete for business, but when it comes to navigating a difficult regulatory issue, comparing notes on an operational challenge or thinking through what is coming next, there is tremendous value in being able to pick up the phone and talk to someone who has been there before.

NAPEO helps create those connections. It also gives us access to the information and expertise we need to make better decisions and stay ahead of changes affecting our companies and our clients.

Most importantly, NAPEO membership creates a unified industry voice that helps make all our businesses stronger. When NAPEO advocates in Washington or in state capitals, educating policymakers about our industry, advancing pro-PEO policies or pushing back on proposals that could negatively affect PEOs, that work is possible because we speak with a united voice about how our industry helps 233,000 business and 5.4 million workers thrive.

As board chair, I get a close-up view of just how much happens behind the scenes on behalf of our industry. I also know none of it happens automatically. It happens because you have chosen to invest your resources and time in NAPEO. I hope you will continue to do so in 2027 so we may build upon the progress we have made this year.

Renewing your NAPEO membership is an investment in the strength and future of the PEO industry. It will take all of us working together to move this industry forward. I look forward to working alongside you once again.

2023 DIGITAL TRENDS

Lorem ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. CLIENT-LEVEL FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

If you asked someone in the PEO space what he or she thought of actuarial science a positive response might be reserve analyses or accruals. A negative response might be collateral calls or rate increases. Naturally, the varied reactions stem from whether there is positive or negative news coming from the work of the actuary. Yet, one of the most helpful projects an actuary can perform for a PEO, eliciting either positive and negative reactions, is a client-level financial analysis.
